The goal is to enable students to express mathematical ideas more creatively and to develop their talent whilst making them confident, capable and responsible human beings. The department celebrates various functions such as Science Day, Pi Day, Quiz Competition. The department also organizes farewell, fresher party & trips for students. Powerpoint assignments given to students help them to increase their proficiency in using computers for educational purposes. The faculty members make a full effort in the development of students' inherent potential so that they attain their educational goals and career goals. The Department of Mathematics is dedicated to the ideals of liberal education. We strive to develop in our students enduring fundamental abilities of effective lifelong learning: precise reading, sound reasoning, and clear communication. More than any particular facts or theories, we emphasize that language, logic, and understanding are the heart and the true power of mathematics. These principles help guide the design and implementation of general education, service courses as well as the curricula for our majors.

  •  Imparting quality mathematics education and the inculcating of the spirit of research through innovative teaching and research methodology.
  • To create a conducive academic environment for the students to develop them into global citizens.
